Blog Journal #6

My initial experiences with Diigo were pretty good. I really enjoyed the platform itself and it was pretty easy to use once I got the hang of it. I like the book marking feature in Diigo. What I don't like is that you have to go through another website. For instance, if fsu libraries was linked to Diigo that would be a lot more convenient.

I really enjoyed blogging so far. It is a good way to express my feelings towards what we have been learning at that time in class. I like that I can express my feelings and my other classmates can read my thoughts if they so desire. What I don't really like is all the restraints and lack of creativity. During the blogging process I have learned that it is good to write out how you're feeling. It is a good gage of how successful you are in the class, and what you need to improve on to succeed even further.

An interesting Web 2.0 tool that I will likely use while teaching is Youtube. I love Youtube. There are so many different videos that I can show my class depending on the lesson. For instance, if it is a math lesson I am sure that I would be able to find tons of videos and songs explaining the concept. Same with an English lesson. It is easy to use. It is also very accessible. Every kind of video a teacher could want is right at their finger tips.
