There was a lot of information on the teacher page that I found. There was contact information. There was also a button you could click to get to know information about the teacher. Additionally, there was a class wishlist, and a daily schedule. There was also class information, frequently asked questions, and the teachers lesson plans. It was very interactive, and super easy to read and navigate.  https://earhart.goddardusd.com/49583_3     I envision myself using technology in my classroom a ton. There are many tools that I will use. For instance, if a student is absent I will make sure I use zoom so they do not miss out on the information that is provided that day. I will also use software like powerpoint and Microsoft Word to get my lessons to my students. Some specific teacher productivity tools that I will use are grammarly to make sure that I appear credible, and google drive to make sure that...

My initial experiences with Diigo were pretty good. I really enjoyed the platform itself and it was pretty easy to use once I got the hang of it. I like the book marking feature in Diigo. What I don't like is that you have to go through another website. For instance, if fsu libraries was linked to Diigo that would be a lot more convenient.      I really enjoyed blogging so far. It is a good way to express my feelings towards what we have been learning at that time in class. I like that I can express my feelings and my other classmates can read my thoughts if they so desire. What I don't really like is all the restraints and lack of creativity. During the blogging process I have learned that it is good to write out how you're feeling. It is a good gage of how successful you are in the class, and what you need to improve on to succeed even further.      An interesting Web 2.0 tool that I will likely use...

Blog Journal #5

I have really not had a lot of twitter experience prior to this class. I had to create a twitter account when I held a position in my theatre magnet in High School but that was about it. I would interact with other classmates and teachers. I have found twitter very beneficial because I have been able to find people who share the same passion for teaching as I do. Twitter could be helpful in my future career because if I have a question about a lesson I could consult some of my colleagues via the app.      The digital divide affects student success in schools greatly. For instance, if there is an online assignment for a class but a student does not have access to the internet the student is set up to fail. Some of the causes of the digital divide are poverty and lack of funding in underprivileged schools. I might experience the digital divide as a teacher if a student ...

I have chosen kindergarten. The standard explains that kids will be able to explore many different digital tools with the help of an adult. Some of these programs include paint apps, smart boards. and promethean boards. I do not feel prepared to implement this standard based on my skill set thus far. This is because I am only about a third of the way into this course so I have not quite mastered my digital skills at this time.      I have chosen a kindergarten theatre standard. The standard explains sharing reactions to a live theatre performance. I would use this in my classroom because I come from a theatre background so it is very important for me to keep music and performance in my students lives. So, I will make sure that after watching a performance or some kind of show my students will be able to identify how it made them feel weather that be expressed verbally or non-verbally.     It is important to be a proficient internet...
